RALEIGH, NC (APRIL 9, 2024) - Global superstar J. Cole and Dreamville, the internationally recognized entertainment brand and multi-platinum record label for which he cofounded, successfully hosted the fourth edition of Dreamville Festival this past weekend in Raleigh, welcoming over 100,000 festival attendees from around the globe to his home state of North Carolina – including guests from all 50 U.S. states and 20+ countries across four continents.

After a historic event last spring, Dreamville returned this past weekend to its home in Dorothea Dix Park to usher in the spring festival season with a momentous week-long celebration of music, art, fashion, and culture that took over the city of Raleigh this past week.

Curated by the Dreamville collective, Dreamville Festival 2024 welcomed SZA and 50 Cent to each perform as Saturday headliners, while J. Cole and Nicki Minaj each closed out their respective stages on Sunday.

J. Cole once again closed out the 2024 event in spectacular fashion with the debut of a never-before-seen main stage design created to honor iconic landmarks found in his hometown of Fayetteville, North Carolina, with surprise guest performances from Lil Durk, Central Cee, Benny The Butcher, 6lack and more, not to mention fellow festival performer Jeremih and the first-ever live collaborative performance of “The Secret Recipe” with Lil Yachty.

The two-day outdoor celebration also marked a rare reunion for Dreamville Records as J. Cole brought together acts like J.I.DBas, EarthGangCozz, and Omen, plus Lute who hails from nearby Charlotte to perform at the fest, most of whom joined J. Cole onstage for Sunday’s grand finale.

Saturday, April 6 also featured sets from Lil Yachty, ScHoolboy Q, Sexyy Red, Jeremih, Teezo Touchdown, Amaarae, Luh Tyler, and Domani, while acts like Rema, Jeezy, Monica, Rae Sremmurd, Key Glock, Hunxho, TiaCorine, and Chase Shakur performed at the festival on Sunday, April 7.

“No one puts on like Dreamville fans. We are grateful to everyone from around the world who continue to rock with us year after year after year, while our team continues to find new ways to elevate and improve the festival-going experience in all facets. Thank you to Raleigh, to North Carolina, to our community partners and city stakeholders, and to the tens of thousands of individuals who helped produce this event,” said Dreamville Cofounder and Festival President Adam Roy.

Entering its fourth edition this spring, J. Cole and his Dreamville team continue to firmly cement themselves as the organizers behind the world’s largest artist-led music festival, as well as the executives behind one of the most powerful brands in today’s entertainment industry.

This event serves as an annual reunion for Dreamville fans worldwide with Raleigh residents and international travelers gathering together to enjoy a festival experience unlike any other while driving a multi-million dollar economic impact to the greater Wake County region.

With a continued emphasis on community, diversity, positivity, and inclusivity, 2024 festival attendees were offered a true taste of the good life in North Carolina this weekend with 75+ vendors, food, trucks, artisans, and muralists spread across the Dix Park festival grounds. While roaming inside, fans were able to immerse themselves in site-wide art installations; learn more about local community organizations through Dreamville Foundation’s Nonprofit Row; enjoy surprise impromptu marching band performances; and ride the iconic Dreamville Ferris wheel with unparalleled skyline views of downtown Raleigh and the sprawling festival grounds.

After first launching in 2018 as the Dreamville brand's flagship annual event, the music festival has since grown into a weeklong celebration of music, culture, and community that spreads across downtown Raleigh. Driven by a desire to further invest in the festival’s host city, Dreamville worked this year with community partners to develop a series of events leading up to the festival that ultimately offered festival-goers greater opportunities to spend locally and explore the beauty of North Carolina beyond the festival weekend dates.

Developed by the Dreamville team, this year’s Dreamville Festival Week schedule was filled with one-of-a-kind experiences, many of which offer opportunities to interact firsthand with Dreamville artists, producers, executives, and collaborators.  Notable activities included a stand-up comedy showcase hosted by Doctur Dot of EARTHGANG, an adult game night with Omen, morning yoga with OLU of EarthGang, a free block party and car show with Lute, bespoke portrait studio with Bas, and a three-day pop-up shop downtown featuring several newly released apparel collections.

The pinnacle of Dreamville Festival Week included a day-long music conference at the Contemporary Art Museum of Raleigh (CAM Raleigh) on Friday. Presented by Amazon Music with additional support from Champion, the all-ages event featured words from both executives and artists from Dreamville Records, as well as other award-winning producers, performers, and industry experts like MixedByAli, Rapsody, Ski Beatz, T-Minus, Complex’s Jordan Rose, and more who shared insights into their journeys within the recording industry.

Dreamville Festival 2024 would also like to thank and show appreciation to all the partners and sponsors who helped make this year’s event possible including Amazon Music, who once again exclusively live-streamed the two-day event to fans throughout the world; as well as Bacardi, Champion, Charmin, Chase, Chateau Ste. Michelle, Defender, Electrolit, Febreeze, Hennessy, Monster, Patron Tequila, Smirnoff Ice, Tito’s Handmade Vodka, White Claw, and more, plus community partners like Artsplosure and Visit Raleigh. Proceeds from this year’s event will go on to support charity partners, Dreamville Foundation and Dix Park Conservancy.
